Trading Forex
with the SST ProPlus Plug-in

Short Swing Trading (SST) as a strategy was originally devised to trade stocks although it also trades Indices extremely well.

However, I have had many enquiries about how well the strategy and plug-in trades Forex. The SST ProPlus does have the ability to adjust decimal places to any number as well as having the flexibility and functions which mean that this plug-in trades the Forex market very well on an End of Day basis. The key here is that the SST ProPlus has auto-optimization and therefore can find the best settings to trade a currency. We do not guarantee that all currencies can be traded profitably but at the time of testing the two currencies below, both back tested very well indeed.

PLEASE NOTE: SST Plug-in is designed to trade the SST End of Day strategy and cannot be used to trade shorter time frames than daily candles/bars. Forex is often traded on an Intra-day basis and if this is the way that you currently trade then you might like to think about adding this End of Day strategy to your other trading techniques. Please remember, the Plug-in cannot be used Intra-Day.

Back test examples for two popular currencies are below:

GBP/USD

SST ProPlus Plug-in Profit of $30,064 (3006 pips) over approx 18 months , 12 trades, 66.7% winning trades, ave winning trade was 4.8 x ave losing trade. $10 per pip (point) with cost per trade of $30 (spread trade example). Full test results (Use "back in your browser to return)

EUR/USD
