This is an absolute must for every trader. It was one of the first books I ever bought and has been read many many times since. If you haven't got a copy yet, buy it now. It is on the shelf next to the pc of every successful trader and covers the subject of trading in a holistic way. Everything from components of a strategy to the stages in a traders journey to success. Highly RECOMMENDED

Master Trader by Jens Cleaver

Day Trading is an extremely attractive proposition. Why, because it is exciting and you can make money in minutes that would take you days or even weeks to earn by any other means. It is the classic way to earn a living by trading the markets. You start each day with a blank sheet, you trade in and out the market through the day and you close all trades at the end of the day. Sounds great doesn't it! The problem is that like all these things it is not quite that easy. Bets and the City (Sally Nicoll's spread betting diary)

This is a great read for anyone interested in spread betting. The Author, Sally Nicoll has an account at Finspreads and has also read all my books to hopefully help guide her on her way. It is a very funny account of her spread betting experiences and details her journey from novice trader, a journey that many of us will find familiar. I really enjoyed reading this and just had to finish it in one sitting with a huge smile on my face the whole way. It is available from Amazon.co.uk at £6.99

Simple Strategy, Extraordinary Results

Mike & Alma Kidwell's book is full of excellent information and sound strategy for swing trading. This is worth a good look because of the educational content. It is easy to follow and has a logical approach. Money management is included to provide a comprehensive approach to swing trading. RECOMMENDED

Price Headley regularly writes very good articles for the StockWeblog newsletter and has a common sense approach to trading with no hype.
