This update is important.

If you have just purchased SST SwingTrader or an existing subscriber who needs to update then you must install this update. If the update is not installed you will not be able to optimise any symbols (stocks & Indices) and you will not be able to check symbols for trades. To carry out the upgrade please follow the instructions below:

1. Close SST SwingTrader.

2. Right click on the link below, then "Save target as" and save it to your desktop. The folder is called SST.WinApp.exe.zip and it is a zipped folder containing the file SST.WinApp.exe

If for some reason (occasionally happens) you do not see the zipped folder on your desktop open Windows Explorer and go to Desktop and you will see it there.

3. Unzip the folder (Extract all) and you will see a file called SST.WinApp.exe (the file type is called CONFIG)

4. Open Windows Explorer (if not already open) and go to C:, Program Files or Program Files (x86) and look for the folder called SST. Then the folder called SST SwingTrader and open it.

5. Copy the update file SST.WinApp.exe (from the zipped folder) and paste it into the SST SwingTrader folder. You will be asked if you want to replace the existing file - click yes (copy & replace).

6. IMPORTANT - Windows 7 and Vista users You must run SST SwingTrader as "Administrator". This is very simple. After you have carried out the update above simply right click on the file called SST.WinApp with the GLOBE icon (the file type is Application), select "Properties" then "Compatibility" then check the box "Run this program as administrator" so that a tick appears in the box. Click "Apply" then OK.

7. You can now close Windows Explorer.

8. Open SST SwingTrader by double clicking the SST SwingTrader GLOBE icon on your desktop and you are ready to go.
