Having downloaded the SST SecureSetup.zip folder from the website to your desktop please follow the instructions below. If you haven't downloaded the SST SecureSetup.zip folder then please return to the download page by clicking here.

1. Extract the SST.SecureSetup.msi from the zipped folder (unzip) by double clicking it (or RIGHT click then open) and copy to your local computer. Normally the best place is your desktop (this is the first screen you see after your computer has booted up - it has all your program icons on the screen).

2. Double click on SST.SecureSetup.msi and wait for first screen to appear. Click 'Next'

3. Select Installation Folder: Do not change default destination folder unless you know that you store all your program files in a different location. Click 'Next.

4. Confirm Installation: Click 'Next' to begin installation.

5. Installing SST SwingTrader: Wait whilst installation is completed.

6. Installation Complete: Confirmation the installation has been completed successfully. Click Close.

7. Start SST SwingTrader: Double click the SST SwingTrader (Globe) icon on your desktop.
Alternatively click on Start -> All Programs -> SST SwingTrader to start your application.

Note: If you have a current PayPal subscription in place but have "Trial Version" displayed on the screen please see the License page.

Having Problems?

If you have carried out all the above steps and are still experiencing problems then please check the following:

SST SwingTrader will run on most modern pc's and laptop computers without any problems at all. However, please ensure your processor and equipment meets the following requirements or SST SwingTrader will not run properly.

Supported Operating Systems:

• An Intel® or compatible personal computer with a Pentium-Class Microprocessor.
• SST SwingTrader requires Windows ME with 64 MB RAM, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or better installed, Windows 2000/2003 or Windows XP with 128 MB RAM, Windows Vista with 512 MB RAM.
• If you use Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista.
• Windows Vista Application
  I have to admit that I have stuck with XP on the basis that it does everything I need very well and "Better the devil you know." If you are running Vista you do need to be sure that you have administrative rights. In other words the login account that you normally use when you open up your pc to trade is registered as the computer administrator. This, in XP is done via Control Panel, User accounts but I do not have a Vista application to be able to give precise directions. Please consult your supplier or pc expert if necessary. Additional Required Software

The following two software items are required before SST SwingTrader can run properly. If you have a relatively new computer these two pieces of FREE supporting software are likely to already be on your machine. However, if SST SwingTrader does not function correctly you should install the following:

• dot NET Framework version 2.0: You must install the dot net (.NET) Framework Redistributable Package version 2.0 before installing the Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2005 below. To go to the download page please click here . When you get to the Microsoft page you need to download the File Name: dotnetfx.exe
  Just above the "Quick Details" heading is the download button. Click this button then click Run to start the installation.
  
• Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2005: Please install The Microsoft Report Viewer 2005 Redistributable Package after installing the dot NET package above.
  To go to the download page click here.
  When you get to the Microsoft page you need to download the File Name: ReportViewer.exe
  Just above the Quick Details heading is the download button. Click the button then click Run to start the installation.

If you think you may have these two pieces of software above but are not sure it will not harm your computer to download them anyway - just to be sure.
