Welcome to SST SwingTrader, you have made a great choice.

Please read the whole of this page very carefully.

IMPORTANT: Please BOOKMARK this page or note the URL (address) so that you can return to it if necessary.

To get you up and running really quickly with your SST SwingTrader please follow the four simple steps below. Please read all instructions carefully to avoid any frustration.

 

STEP 1 - Download the SST SwingTrader
installer in the zipped folder.

RIGHT CLICK (right mouse button) on the underlined link below and then left click "Save target as..". A small window will appear telling you that the file will be saved to your Desktop** (see below) and the file name will be at the bottom of the window. You need do nothing other than left click "Save".

You will have then downloaded the SST.SecureSetup.zip folder to your desktop.
** The desktop is the screen you see (with your program icons) when you first switch your computer on. Once you have downloaded the installer you will see a zipped folder called SST.SecureSetup.zip

STEP 2 - Unzip the folder to reveal the Installer

To do this you can double click on the SST.SecureSetup.zip folder on your desktop (or right click) then click Open. You will then see the installer file called SST.SecureSetup.msi (Note that it says msi at the end instead of zip).

STEP 3 - Install the SST SwingTrader

Double click on the SST.SecureSetup.msi file then click "Run". It is important to just click 'next' all the way through until you see the close button. Click Close and you will see the "Globe" Icon with SST SwingTrader on your desktop.

STEP 4 - Open SST SwingTrader

Double click on the Globe icon and you will see a message saying that your license is being checked. As soon as your username has been entered on our system you will be able to use it to enter SST SwingTrader. You will have access to the software for 14 days without using your username (free trial period).

IMPORTANT - Vista and Windows 7 users - you must run it as "Administrator". It is very easy, just right click on the SST SwingTrader globe icon and select 'Run as administrator'. Any problems refer to the 'Troubleshooting' page on the SwingTrader website.

Once open please click the Help button at the top left for all other guidance in using the software. Please refer to the 'System Requirements and Installation' in Help if you have any problems. I advise you to read the Help all the way through as if it were a manual to make sure you fully understand how to use SwingTrader effectively. Then after using it for a short while (a few days) re-read all the help again. You will be amazed at how much you will learn the second time through.

Please note: You will see "TRIAL VERSION" on the screen initially although this version is FULLY functional. As soon as we have registered your Username from the form you completed the words "Trial Version" will disappear from the screen. This will happen at some time during the 14 day trial period. However, if you cancel within 14 days your SST SwingTrader show "Trial Version" again and will cease to work on day 15.

Be sure to visit the SST SwingTrader Members Website. There is a link at the top of the screen and you will find lots of useful information including suggested stocks for you to put in a watch list to get you started.
